Blended Learning in Your Classroom

 Hello all,

In this weeks blog post, I'd like to share that things are still going well in grad school. One of the most challenging courses that I have taken, Educational Research, is in full swing! I'm in the process of research, having meetings with group members, and participating in the writing of a literature review. Definitely challenging and beneficial to cognitive growth.

I'd like to share an easy read that I found. Please see details below:

Technology-enhanced learning in higher education: How to exchange student engagement through blended learning. (April, 2019) Dolores R. Serrano LINK

To sum up the article without spoiling it, I'd say this is a very practical and quick read about different aspects of blended learning instructional models that can be used in your classroom. The layout of the article is clear and the ideas are presented in a sound manner. There are also a number of infographics that capture the essence of the concepts.

This image describes one of the articles biggest points: well designed blended learning classes need to have a harmonious balance of face-to-face and online learning elements embedded.

If you've got some free time, check it out!

Tony
