It's Go Time
Alright, it's February, 2021 and I'm in grad school now with a solid start in education. We're about a year into a global pandemic, schools have been closed since last March, and I'm focusing on Education Technology. Got it.

Hey folks, my name is Tony and this is my blog for the EDIT 4300 class in the MA in Ed Tech program at CSULA. My goal to share experiences, things I've learned, and other relevant information on a weekly basis in this space. Thanks for following along!

At about 3 weeks in to an online education program, I feel that I have sense of the flow and cadence of online education. I am taking 4 classes right now, teaching high school animation full time, and supporting my family. Among those obligations is my desire to work with clay and create pottery whenever I have free time.

During the past three weeks, I have started to learn about academic research, begun HTML coding, engaged in discussions about the field of Instructional Design and Technology, and focused on integrating various resources in curriculum design. I am optimistic about the things that I will soon learn given that I have a strong foundation in some topics and a desire to learn about others. I am also optimistic about the prospect of future opportunities in education given that I am passionate about curriculum design and see a clear path to integrating art eduction into the core content areas.

Let's see what happens!
